Everything You Should Know Before the ESUT VC Football Tournament Final

The ESUT VC Football Tournament has been amazing ever since the start.  After intense faculty rivalry, amazing comebacks and impressive performance from teams and players is the VC Football Tournament Finals is almost here. 

For the finals this year we will see the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Physical Science go head-to-head. Students have all been waiting a long time for this match, with debate on who would win. 

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

The so-called “Engineering Boys” is of no doubt one of the best teams, since the start of the tournament. 

Engineering in a total of 5 matches played came out with 4 wins and 1 draw. 

In every match, Engineering has been the most comfortable team. They score when given the chance, they defend when they need to, and their attacking players have caused lots of problems for every faculty they have faced.

They are not the kind of team that backs down easily, especially on goals. Give them the slightest chance and they might end up scoring. Below are the specific statistics FAPS have throughout the competition leading to the finals

PLAYERS TO WATCH 

Both faculties have impressive and good players who could influence the outcome of the game. 

On the Engineering side, players like Adama, Motion, SanchoOgodo and  Obere can very much decide the outcome of the finals 

While on the Physical Science side, players like Rowlex, IfeanyiVican, and Demo can play a vital role for the team.

The two faculties are strong and good teams, with both having several players that are experienced, skillful with the ball and amazing goal scorers. 

Both faculties also have great goalkeepers. De Hustler, the goalkeeper for Engineering and Maximus, goalkeeper for Physical Sciences, who is a one-time VC Goalkeeper of the Week
