The VC Games 2026 Inter-Faculty Football Tournament played on Saturday was packed with three exciting fixtures at the ESUT Field. Fans were treated with competitive display of gameplay, attacking football and several goals as faculties battle for crucial points in the group stages.
With the momentum and buzz surrounding the tournament, Saturday’s Match delivered both drama and attacking intensity.
Allied Sciences (1) Vs Physical Sciences (3)
Physical Sciences secured an important victory over Allied Sciences. The match began, with Physical Sciences pressing attacking and showing more dominance in the pitch which led to a goal scored by their Captain Ifeanyi after an intense attack which started in their half.
Physical Science responded with another goal scored by their center forward Rowlex after he capitalized on a defensive error. Allied Sciences began seeing more of the ball after the second goal was scored.
Allied Sciences responded positively with a goal scored by Livinus after a corner kick was played. The goal brought back renewed energy into the contest as Allied Sciences started pushing for a goal, but all attempts on goal were either missed or saved Maximus, Physical Science goalkeeper.
Rowlex sealed the victory with a second goal deep into stoppage time. The Centre Forward is now up to 5 goals in the tournament, making him the highest in the ranking as he also draws with Environmental Center Forward, Timothy.
Physical Science has now won two games in a row and will be facing Pharmacy today by 2:00PM, with most fans saying the match will end with Physical Sciences taking the win.

Biological Science (2) Vs Agriculture (2)
Biological Science and Agriculture shared points in a competitive and evenly matched contest. Biological Sciences showed attacking intent early into the match. They opened the scoring through Money Matters, who finished confidently after his team applied early attacking pressure to Agric defense.
Agric responded and found an equalizer through Nelson, who scored inside the box calmly to bring his side level. Biological Science saw more of the ball with a total of 22 shots but failed to convert their chances.
Biological Sciences regained the lead once more with center forward, Omeke, scoring an opportunity inside the box. Agric fought back once more, with Odumo finding the net to secure a draw for his side. His goal ensured the match ended level, as both faculties settled for one point each.
Agric has not won a single game in the VC league Tournament with 2 Draws and 1 Loss, with fans already speculating the end of their run in the tournament.

Engineering (5) Vs BAMSAA (2)
Engineering delivered one of the standout performances of the day with a 5-2 victory over BAMSAA. From the early stages, Engineering dominated the match in all areas, displaying sharp attacking and defending.
BAMSAA managed to score twice, but Engineering’s attacking efficiency proved decisive as they recorded five goals to seal an emphatic win. Engineering is now on a three-game win streak.
