The countdown has begun as the ESUT VC Female Football Tournament 2026 is set to begin next week.

According to the official announcement the VC Female Football Tournament 2026 will kick off on Monday, 11th May 2026 by 2PM at MTN Stand.

The tournament is expected to bring together female teams across different faculties in ESUT and is already promising to be an exciting competition.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The knockout format in the tournament means that the three groups winner go straight to the Semi Finals of the competition. The three teams that finish in first position in their respective group will automatically qualify for the Semi Finals.

However, only one second-place team will join them in the Semi Finals. The qualification for the spot will be decided based on:

But if teams remain tied after points and goal difference, a playoff match will be played by the team to determine who advances to the Semi Finals.

MATCH DURATION

Each match in the tournament will last for:

50 Minutes total

25 Minutes for each half

PLAYER REQUIREMENT

All players that will be participating in the tournament are expected to appear properly dressed for matches.

Players should wear football jerseys

Football boots or canvas are required during games

Players are to keep a trimmed fingernail
